Flooded Expert log
#1
Not Solved
Hi!
Today I got a flooded Expert log again!
This time 6+ GB for today and now the disk space is 0...again.
I have an enormous amount of rows like:

2014.12.11 13:30:18.143 Ratz Trap v1.0x EURNZD,H4: Index: 16562 LotSize: 1000.00 GridSize: 0.00500 GridLimit: 82.80660 Factor 2 MPow: 407488697340790050000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.00

Then in between it sometimes is like this:

2014.12.11 13:30:14.992 Ratz Trap v1.0x EURNZD,H4: Index: 615 LotSize: 1000.00 GridSize: 0.00500 GridLimit: 3.07160 Factor 2 MPow: 78504254.49

It is impossible to investigate the whole file, but something is wrong here.
And it is again impossible to send you the Expert log due to the size... Smile
Is there anything else I can send you that would help you in tracking this?
BR

The value of You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. can affect the log file - so I've changed the code so that internally it will not initially create a large array/log print if you set a large You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. value.

But I would think that your problem stems from the GridLot function, which creates a new index in the array as the price moves further from the first trade open price. I don't see this problem in back tests, so please send a set file.

... but I can not find any reason for the problem. At this point I'm assuming that it is related to the restart problem with GridLot, so please keep an eye on it after the new release (later today).

Will do so.
It happened twice for me and then didn't stop until the disk was completely filled up.
Hopefully your changes will help.
